Pont L’Eveque AOC 220g

The story is that Pont l’Eveque was introduced by monks in the Pays d’Auge in the Thirteenth Century; it was given its current name in the seventeenth century after the village in Normandy where it was produced.

A manuscript from the time writes that a fine meal should always end with some of this cheese. This seems like a very good idea.
