What does it taste like? Elrick Log uses UNPASTEURISED milk and traditional rennet which gives it a citric and fresh flavour. It is yeast ripened so it softens from the outside in if left to mature long enough.
Where’s it from? Direct from Selina Cairns’s farm at Errington Cheese in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Packaging: This version comes as a wrapped log of 180g.
You can also find Elrick Log in The Scottish Selection Box alongside Lanark Blue, Isle of Mull Cheddar and Wee Comrie.
